BE

WHO DO YOU WANT TO BE?

Who is only
the beginning.

We all have names, roles, labels, relationships, and responsibilities, ways we understand who we are. Some are chosen. Some are inherited. Some we may never have thought much about.

I love word games. So let’s play with this one.

But HOW?
Not every part of who we are carries the same weight. Some things count more. Some get amplified.WHO describes us from the outside.
But HOW asks us to look inward.

Turn the axis from WHO to HOW,
and the value of the whole changes.

BE is a place to pay attention to that. To choose a few ways you want to show up, practice them in the life you already have, and notice what they are shaping over time.

Don’t just do the thing. BE there for it.

THERE ISN’T ONE HOW

Different moments call for different ways of being.

Present in one moment. Curious in another. Patient, playful, attentive, courageous, gentle, steady — there is no single answer you are meant to choose and become forever.

BE isn’t about replacing one label with a better one. It gives you a place to notice and practice a few ways you want to show up, one at a time, and to change what deserves your attention as life changes.

BE doesn’t tell you who to be. It helps you pay attention to some of the hows you choose.

WHAT VS. HOW

A checkmark can only tell you so much.

A tracker can tell you what you did: spent time with someone, went outside, exercised, learned, prayed, followed through on something that mattered.

BE can track that too. But the same what can be lived a hundred different ways. A checkmark records that you did something. Intention, noticing, reflection, and an optional note can help you pay attention to how you were there for it.

WHY BE?

Paying attention to your life shouldn’t require managing another life.

There are habit trackers, journals, notes apps, reminder apps, mindfulness apps, spiritual apps, and goal systems. BE brings a few useful pieces together in one quiet place: practices, commitments, daily intention, things you notice, and reflection.

Not to create another system to maintain. Just to hold what you want to remember and bring you back to one question: How do I want to be?

Private by design.Your journey stays on your device. No account is required, and BE does not build an advertising profile from the things you write or track.

HOW BE WORKS

A few simple pieces.

Practices
Small ways you want to keep showing up.

Commitments
Specific things you want to follow through on.

Today
Set an intention, see what matters, and check in.

Notice & reflect
Jot what catches your attention and look back when you want to.

There are no streaks, points, badges, or perfect days. An unchecked box is not a failure. The point is to pay attention.

WHY 28 DAYS?

Long enough to notice. Short enough to choose again.

BE uses a 28-day journey built around four parts of life:

BodyMove
Fuel
Care
MindFocus
Notice
Think
HeartPresence
Connect
Grow
SpiritDaven
Pause
Purpose

The practice library begins with 28 different ways to explore how you want to be. Most are spread across those four areas, with a few set aside for Rest — practices for preparing for and experiencing Shabbos.

Choose a few that feel worth coming back to now. Along the way, keep what is helping and change what isn’t. The journey is a container for attention, not a contract with the practices you picked on Day 1.

Twenty-eight is also כח — koach, the numerical value of the Hebrew word for strength.

May you have the strength to keep showing up exactly how You want to BE.

DESIGNED TO BE PUT DOWN

BE should help you get back to your life.

Set an intention. See what you wanted to remember. Check in with a practice or commitment. Jot something down when you notice it. Reflect when you want to.

Then put your phone away.

Reminders can bring you back when something actually needs your attention, so you don’t need to keep checking.

BE isn’t another place to spend your time. It’s a place to remember how you want to spend it.

YOUR BE BELONGS TO YOU

Private by design. Yours by design.

Your practices, intentions, reflections, commitments, check-ins, notes, and journey history stay on your device. BE does not keep a server-side copy of your journey.

BE stores only a small amount of anonymous product information and, if you enable reminders, what’s needed to deliver them. It does not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, advertising ID, or build a profile of you.

There is no account or automatic sync. You can create a backup or a readable copy whenever you want.

Your BE stays local, but it isn’t trapped there.

WHAT’S THE CATCH?

There isn’t one.

BE is free to use. I built it for myself and decided to share it, and I hope to keep it free as long as that’s practical.

No ads. Just BE.
